MINT INCLUDED IN DOW JONES SUSTAINABILITY INDICES FOR THE 2ND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Minor International Public Company Limited (“MINT”) announced today that it is included in the new 2015 Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index. This is the 2nd consecutive year that MINT is recognized for sustainability leadership in the Consumer Services sector (Hotels, Resorts & Cruise lines).

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices were launched in 1999 as the first global sustainability benchmarks. The indices track the performance of the world's leading companies in terms of economic, environmental, governance and social performance factors. The indices serve as benchmarks for investors who integrate sustainability considerations into their portfolios, and provide an effective engagement platform for companies who want to adopt sustainable best practices. Each year, over 3,000 publicly traded companies are invited to participate in this corporate sustainability assessment and MINT's inclusion is an evidence of its continued progress in delivering its sustainability strategy.

William E Heinecke, Chairman and Group CEO of MINT commented, "We are proud to be the only company in the Consumer Services sector in the emerging markets to be included in this highly-respected index for two consecutive years. We strive to achieve sustainability through driving people development, engaging in end-to-end customer experience, committing to long-term and sustainable partnerships, and managing environmental impact, while making sure we adhere to good corporate governance and continually foster social responsibility mindset within the organization. The inclusion in this index reflects the extraordinary commitment and hard work of our people who play a critical role in making positive impact to our stakeholders and the environment. It is greatly rewarding to see our extensive sustainable efforts making a difference.”

MINT has embarked on many initiatives around its key sustainability drivers. MINT’s people development programs include giving support to underprivileged schools both structurally and academically, through scholarships from Heinecke Foundation and various educational programs such as “English for Kids” and “Corporate University” programs. At the same time, its knowledge and leadership development programs aim to strengthen its workforce, which in turn will strengthen the nation and the society at large. MINT is striving to create sustainable supply chain practice through its entire value chain, with its direct suppliers and beyond. In addition, the company supports the economies and environment of communities where it operates by promoting environmental-friendly initiatives and conservations. Among many of its programs, MINT advocates conservation through the Golden Triangle Elephant Foundation and Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation.
